There are strategies that players need to employ if they want to defeat enemy oracles. Soltice Arena is not an easy game, even on the lowest level of difficulty. First, players must ensure their heroes are well equipped, at full strength, and have been adequately upgraded. It's also important to become familiar with the attributes of each hero before beginning a match. Heroes belong to one or more "schools:" Sun, Moon, Earth, Iron, and Void. Each school specializes in a certain fighting type, like speed or attack power. Once players are familiar with strengths and weaknesses of their hero, they can make better decisions in the heat of battle, as well as providing them with upgrades tailored to their specialties. In-game plans are also important. It would be detrimental for players to try and destroy the castles and oracles first. They fight back, and will quickly drain the hero's health. Players should strive to rid the battlefield of all enemy units first. Once all units are destroyed, the towers will be unable to fight back and can quickly be eliminated. The helpful tutorial at the beginning of play will help players understand the flow of gameplay enough to develop a solid plan of attack when they enter their first live battle.

When battling enemy heroes, players must demonstrate self-control. The best way to win fights is to separate the enemy from the group, sporadically injuring just enough so he gives chase. Now is where self-control comes in. Typically, even when playing the lower levels of difficulty, trading attacks blow-by-blow will usually cause players to lose. Players must not only be tactical, but willing to endure long bouts. They should administer a hit, and move away to avoid the return attack. Since players have three different attacks -- all of which need to recharge after use -- they should always alternate among attacks, never repeating the same move twice in a row. This will ensure that players are never defenseless. Especially if there is a wait period between each attack, heroes' attacks will always be recharged. Keeping heroes near full strength, means that players must pick and choose their battles carefully, waiting for the right opportunity to strike. Players simply must avoid the impulse to destroy everything quickly, as they will run out of power quickly, rendering themselves defenseless.
