Set underground in the depths of a city sewer system, Where’s My Water? stars Swampy, an alligator waiting for a long shower after a hard day at work. Unfortunately, Cranky the alligator has damaged the plumbing, requiring the player to redirect water to Swampy’s tub. The game involves a variety of physics-related challenges as the player uses the touch screen to dig pathways and re-route the water to Swampy. Where’s My Water? does not require any academic skills, nor is too difficult, so it comes recommended for players 6 and up.

Developing a systematic approach for setting and achieving goals.
The levels in Where's My Water? start out relatively small, but significantly expand in some of the more advanced levels. It takes a well thought out strategy to not only direct the water to the tub, but also to collect the three ducks (and any hidden collection items) in the process. It is not always practical to try to move all the water at once, requiring the player to sequence out stages with several stopping points. Other times, the player needs to track the puzzling plumbing before making her move, ensuring she uses the right pipes. By using good Planning skills, she can reduce her mistakes, improve her scores, and beat levels in fewer attempts.
Being efficient and aware of our use of time and effort.
Some levels in Where's My Water? require the player to act fast or to save time later. Levels in which water is already flowing towards you call for quick thinking and acting, as the water can eventually run out off the screen. Other times water will pool, allowing the player to dig down places lower in the stage ahead of time so that when the water reaches these lower parts of the sewer, she can complete the pathway. Taking too long to review the level will likely leave poor Swampy without a his water.
