The Sims FreePlay allows a player of any age to jump into the adult world and take on real-life responsibilities. The possibilities are endless; from building and furnishing dream homes, to caring for pets, and establishing a career. With personalized characters and full control over their own town, players create their own world to live in. Due to the required reading skills needed for gameplay, as well as some mildly suggestive themes and adult content, The Sims FreePlay is recommended for players 11 and older.

This game is great for kids who have trouble meeting changing expectations or situations. In The Sims FreePlay, the player is in a simulated real-life environment, where she must handle a variety of demands at once. As in the real world, these tasks are accomplished with different strategies and actions. For example, interacting with other Sims will build relationships, however it will not help the player meet any career promotion goals. Furthermore, the player can create and control different Sims at once, requiring her to frequently transition between different situations and goals.
Developing a systematic approach for setting and achieving goals.
Some of the goals in The Sims FreePlay require the coordination of activities between two Sims. For these tasks, the player needs to think about the future and determine the best strategy, and sometimes the best timing in order to get the Sims to work together and achieve a given goal. Without thinking ahead, the player will experience difficulty in completing tasks on the first try, making it more difficult to achieve her long-term goals.
