The Sims 4 Parenthood Game Pack is a game pack that allows your characters to become parents and raise children. Sims can gain new parenting skills by teaching and disciplining their children. The addition of the new parenting skills helps players mold their Sims’ childhoods. The pack also introduces the new Character Values your sim toddlers to teenagers can gain and lose based on their actions. The five character values are manners, responsibility, empathy, conflict resolution and emotional control. Players have to raise their sims properly to max out their character values so their sims can unlock bonus traits. If players let their sim’s charter values dip too far into the negative they will gain negative charter values. This pack is great for players that love playing with families. It also helps players realize how difficult parenting actually is.

Please note that in order to play The Sims 4 Parenthood Pack, you will need to have purchased the Sims 4. The links to purchase the core game are provided in this post.

The Sims 4 Parenthood Game Pack helps kids practice and improve the following skills:

Self-Awareness: Understanding our own actions, thoughts and feelings.

It is essential that players are able to monitor not only their own feelings but also their Sims' feelings when playing with the Parenthood pack. Young sims will go through different phases and the player must be able to identify how their sim is feeling to help them through the struggles of growing up. For example if your teenage sim is going through a rebellious phase and they get very angry at their caregiver, it is important that the player makes sure the teen sim tries to calm down by talking to the mirror before they apologize to their caregiver.

Self-Control: Managing our actions, feelings and behaviors.

Sometimes it is very frustrating when your Sims children are going through a phase. But even if the Sim is being unreasonable the player needs to stay in control. So even if your sim child is going through the “I’m a bear phase” and they refuse to change out of their bear suit in the middle of a formal wedding…the player must use their self-control skills to remain calm.
