Snoopy Spot the Difference is a find the difference game themed around Peanuts characters. The player starts with Snoopy and finds the differences in several pictures per level. Stars are awarded for each level based on the time it takes the player to complete the level and the number of errors they make. The game has traditional spot the difference levels, as well as ones that don’t include a time limit, that have mirror image pictures, as well as levels with other changes.

Every few levels, the player receives a prize box. Inside the prize box are power ups, coins, and character pieces. Collecting the pieces unlocks new characters. Each character, along with their different costumes, will provide the player with different bonuses. Every twentieth level includes a “boss fight” with the Red Baron flying across the picture and leaving clouds behind. After the player clears the clouds, they can continue as normal.

The game has in-app purchases. The ESRB rated Snoopy Spot the Difference E for Everyone and LW4K stands by this rating.

Snoopy Spot the Difference helps kids practice and improve the following skills:

Snoopy Spot the DifferenceFocus

Getting started and then maintaining attention and effort to tasks.

This game requires players to look at the details of pictures under the pressure, for most levels, of a fast-paced timer. Because of this, the player must stay focused or they will lose the level and lose a life. To begin with, they must begin their task—spotting the differences—immediately or they will lose precious seconds on the timer. The player must also keep their attention completely focused on the screen. If they let internal or external distractions interrupt them they will lose time and make errors. This can cost them stars and lives, as well as keeping them from unlocking other levels and characters.

Time Management

Being efficient and aware of our use of time and effort.

Time management is very important in this game. The player must start immediately and keep pace with the timer. Because each level has multiple pictures to search, the player also needs to make sure they are careful to estimate how much time they can spend on each picture. If they don’t carefully manage their time they will run out before they reach the final picture.
