Baby Dragons: Ever After High is a pet simulator game using the dragons from the book and movie series Ever After High. The player gets to start with one dragon and unlocks more by earning stamps. The player gets another stamp every day he or she logs in to the game.
The baby dragon tells the player what she wants to do using thought bubbles. The player gets experience orbs every time they do what the baby dragon asks. There are flying, fire-breathing, and memory games. The player can also take care of the baby dragon’s basic needs, buy clothes, and decorate the baby dragon’s play area.
Baby Dragons: Ever After High has in-game purchases and ads. The ESRB rated it E for Everyone, although it is mainly geared towards users 8 and younger. LW4K stands by this rating.
Baby Dragons: Ever After High helps kids practice and improve the following skills:
Developing a systematic approach for setting and achieving goals.
This game gives the player lots of opportunities to earn gems and coins—but also gives lots of chances to spend them too. This means the player has to use their long-term planning skills to decide how to earn coins and which order to buy things in. If they don’t make a plan ahead of time, they could run low on gems and be unable to buy an accessory that they really want.
Understanding our own actions, thoughts, and feelings.
The player will also get to practice their self-awareness skills. The player gets the chance to practice their empathy by thinking about what the baby dragon needs and then providing it. If they aren’t exercising this skill, they will fail to get orbs and level up. Leveling up can unlock new areas of the game, as well as giving the player one new gift each level.
