Ruzzle is a word-based puzzle game which challenges players to create as many words as possible using a randomized “board” of letters. Players create words by connecting letters horizontally, vertically, and diagonally without removing their finger from the screen. Letters must be connected by a continuous and uninterrupted line. Each letter is assigned a point value dependent upon how common or difficult the letter is to use. Additionally, some letters are assigned a bonus point value which players can gain by utilizing the letter in a word. Players must create as many words a possible in two minutes, competing both against the clock and an opposing player using a copy of the same playing “board.” This game contains no inappropriate content, but may be difficult for players who are beginning readers or players with a limited vocabulary. Ruzzle is available in both free and paid versions, with the latter free from in-game advertisements. Due to the simple reading requirements, this game is recommended for players ages 6 and up.

Adapting and adjusting to changing conditions and expectations.
Players must exercise a great deal of flexibility while working to create new words from the randomized letters on the Ruzzle game "board." Being able to use the same letters and letter combinations in multiple words to score points requires players to alter strategies, change tactics, and be versatile with their vocabulary all while competing against the game clock. Failing to utilize the Flexibility thinking skill will often result in a much lower score than an opponent who is able to successfully utilize the same letters for a greater number of words. For example, using common letters such as "a," "e," "i," "o," and "u," in multiple words produces a greater score and exercises flexibility simultaneously Often, a single letter on the "board" will be included in numerous different words in different positions within the words.
Being efficient and aware of our use of time and effort.
Players are tasked with creating the greatest number of words or scoring the highest total of points in a two minute window. Players who successfully manage their time will far out perform their competitors. Players must be able to move on when "stuck," or employ other strategies when running out of time such as locating short two or three letter words when time is nearly up. The game clock adds a layer of pressure to Ruzzle, forcing the player to operate under stressful time conditions. Over time players may improve the quality of their work while fighting against the clock and develop strategies for effectively managing their time.
