In Phit, players are given a variety of colorful blocks of different shapes and sizes, with the goal being to fit them neatly together into a small space. The game starts off easy, but soon the blocks increase in number, taking on more intricate shapes, so players will have to get a bit creative in order to properly fit all of the shapes together. As a puzzle game, there is no inappropriate content, and Phit is easy to learn and play, making it suitable for players ages 6 and up.

Adapting and adjusting to changing conditions and expectations.
In Phit, players must use different strategies to complete each level in the game, as new combinations of shapes and sizes are continually introduced. If players try to fit the same pieces together in every puzzle, they will likely run into trouble, as the game frequently requires the player to reset the blocks and completely rethink their arrangement. By learning to solve puzzles in different ways, players will be better able to find new solutions and experiment with different combinations of blocks.
Getting started and then maintaining attention and effort to tasks.
While some of the earlier puzzles can be solved in a snap, the game's later puzzles can be quite challenging, taking an extended amount of time to solve. The solution is never readily apparent, so it is up to players to remain attentive as they shuffle around the blocks, being sure to notice when a working combination comes to light. Players that lose their concentration halfway through may end up losing track of what they have already tried and become stuck, having to "rest" the puzzle and start over from the beginning.
