Love Nikki helps kids practice and improve the following skills: 

Focus: Getting started and then maintaining attention and effort to tasks. 

Moving to a new area in the game Dress Nikki requires winning certain dress-up competitions. While there are competitions that can be won, each world Nikki visits contains side quests. In order to move to the next world in the game, students need focus to collect and create all the items they need for one task at a time. If they do not have focus in what they are doing, they will spend more time on tasks than necessary.

Planning: Developing a systematic approach for setting and achieving goals. 

Some competitions require specific outfits that students need to create. They will need to have planning skills in order to know what items they will need to collect for this outfit and where they need to go to collect these items. If students do not have a plan, they will find it takes a very long time to craft a single piece of clothing.
