Funko Pop! Blitz is a matching game where the player uses various Funko Pop! Characters to create matches on a board and score points. Players match three similar icons together to clear them from the board and earn points.

More complex matching patterns such as squares, L-shapes, or four or more icons can place special power ups on the board, allowing for players to score more points. “Stickers” can also be collected on the board which are then used to earn more points. The higher the score, the more coins a player can earn which can then be used to purchase additional Funko Pop! Figures.

Players select a main Funko Pop! Character to use while they play a round. This character powers up with the number of matches players make. When their meter is full, these characters unleash a special and unique power that helps clear more icons off the board.

Funko Pop! Blitz  helps kids practice and improve the following skills:

Organization: Arranging and coordinating materials in order to complete a task.

Being able to look at the board and find appropriate matches takes good organizational skills. Players have to remember the combinations of icons that earn them the most points as well as keeping track of where pieces will land after matches are cleared off the board. Players who struggle with organization may find this game good for practicing sorting and arranging skills.

Time Management: Increasing the pace of activity.

Players have 60 seconds to make as many matches on the board as possible. Because there is a limited amount of time to score points, working quickly and efficiently is a good strategy. Students who struggle with pacing or with working under pressure will find that this game can be a way to practice. Because the time limit is short players are practicing completing an activity under pressure while also enhancing their ability to sense how much they can accomplish in a given amount of time.
