Fantasy Kingdom Defense HD is a tower defense game where players must prevent invading demons from breaching the gates of their castle. Players command an army of elf archers, sword-wielding knights, powerful mages, and fire-breathing dragons in an attempt to keep their kingdom safe from an incoming enemy attack. Archers have a long attack range, mages slow enemies down, and knights are the strongest units. Players must utilize the differences among units, and place them in the best position to slow down and defeat the enemies. Coins are earned when an enemy is defeated, and are used to upgrade units on the map. Once a map is successfully defended, players earn gems. Gems can be used to buy extra upgrades to prepare for the increased difficulty of new maps and levels. Fantasy Kingdom Defense HD is relatively simple to learn and play, but the mild cartoon violence makes the game best suited for players ages 8 and up.

Being efficient and aware of our use of time and effort. Estimating time and meeting deadlines.
Enemy units in Fantasy Kingdom Defense HD have varying levels of strength and move at a fair pace through the map, so players have a limited amount of time before the enemy breaches the castle gate. Players can, however, slow their enemies down in order to defeat them before they pass by. Mages are equipped with an ice attack, powerful enough to impair an enemy's mobility. If the stronger enemies are not slowed down by a mage's ice attack, they will most likely reach the castle and end the game. Players are also given a countdown and a description of the type of enemies in the next oncoming wave. This feature allows players to balance their resources in time to defend against the new attack. But players must make decisions quickly, as the speed in which enemies appear increases as the game progresses.
Arranging and coordinating materials in order to complete a task.
When playing Fantasy Kingdom Defense HD, players must organize groups of units in a way that best combats the invasion. Orcs and Skeletons are weaker enemies and can be easily fought off by a few knights. Airborne enemies need to be shot down by a cluster of well-placed archers, and the larger invaders must be slowed down by mages, then fought with knights. It is helpful to organize units where they can attack in more than one direction, too. For example, in certain levels there are roads that run parallel, and by placing a knight between the roads, players can attack two paths of enemy traffic. By considering these factors as they position their defense, players can arrange their units strategically so that they compliment one another.
