The classic memory game returns in Classic Simon. Pay attention to the colors that light up and then tap in the sequence yourself. Listen to the tones that correspond with each color and use the touch screen to tap in the correct pattern of sound and color. You can play Classic Mode (four colors), or try your hand at the new Super Mode, which challenges you to memorize a series of nine different color and tones. If you have a friend to play with, you can even play head to head! Due to the simplistic nature of the game, Classic Simon is recommended to players ages 4 and up.

this game is good for kids who need help with:

Working Memory:

Recalling and retaining information while working.

Requiring players to memorize an ever-increasing sequence of colors and sounds, Classic Simon is a great game for practicing Working Memory. The game can be played in a simple, four color mode, or players can try their hand at the more challenging nine color mode. The sequence repeats and builds on itself, requiring players to memorize and increasingly complex sequence of colors and sounds.

Focus:

Getting started and then maintaining attention and effort to tasks.

Games like Classic Simon, which task players with paying close attention the sequences of color and sound, are great for practicing Focus skills. Players need to pay attention to the way the colors correspond with the tones, as doing so will make memorizing each sequence all the easier.
