An assortment of colors and animal figures are also available for placement. Whether users want to model their blocks after the Taj Mahal or an original idea, it’s up to them. By rotating each design 360 degrees, they can see every aspect of their design. Creations can be shared via social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook as well as the Bloxy collection. There’s no inappropriate content, making Bloxy World. Bricks for Kids best suited for children ages 4 and older.
It can be difficult to plan the nature of a design in a the free-form environment of Bloxy World. Bricks for Kids. However, there are instructions that users can follow in so they can create pre-designed models. The app essentially employs a step-by-step teaching technique, helping to slowly introduce the functionality of the app. If users do choose to start from scratch, they are prompted to choose from a list of themes. This gives them a little more direction and allows them to better envision a final product. Among the themes are Space, Castle, City, Cars & Vehicles, and Planes. Now that users have a framework for their design, they can begin to plan the order and placement of the tiles. Of course, at first it's going to be a trial-and-error process. But the more familiar users become with the app, the more actively they can plan their designs.
There's nothing more important in Bloxy World. Bricks for Kids than logical arrangement and placement of the individual blocks. Since the quality of the final product is so dependent on the order or each individual block, users have to proceed with care. Colors, size, and accessory pieces are things that users must be cognizant of -- especially at the start of the building process. The foundation pieces are also important, as they create the base for the rest of the idea to grow. From a design perspective, the order of the colors are important, and since the blocks cannot really be altered, adding color can help bring out certain facets of each structure, while layering similar shades can add to a design. A careful organization effort is necessary when it comes to adding new blocks. It can make or break a design.
Users will not necessarily have to use their computation skills to build with Bloxy, but they the app is good fro introducing and exercising basic spacial intelligence skills. Some individuals seem to have a natural inclination to geometry or spacial skills; but for those who don't, Bloxy World. Bricks for Kids can be a great practice tool. Simply understanding the relationship among objects helps improve foundational geometry skills, giving younger users a leg up when shapes and geometry are introduced in the classroom.
