BINGO Blitz takes the original concept of Bingo and injects a whole new realm of exciting gameplay that includes item collection, power-ups, achievements, and more. Each game is played in real-time, against countless of other players from around the globe. As in traditional Bingo, the player may have multiple cards at a time, but anything can happen when power-ups come into play in this unique gameplay experience. For extra fun, BINGO Blitz offers over 25 international themed Bingo rooms (such as Madrid, Spain) to add a little spice to the game, and of course, to seek new collection items. The player has to pay to play with the Bingo coins he earns and accumulates. As an added bonus, the player may visit some slot rooms to earn separate collections and achievements, if desired. Although the game does not feature any inappropriate content and physical money is not required to play, it is rated for older players (12 and up) in consideration of the mild gambling nature of the game.

THIS GAME IS GOOD FOR KIDS WHO NEED HELP WITH:

Focus

Getting started and then maintaining attention and effort to tasks.

photo 2BINGO Blitz demands intense focus and attention to the game or else he may risk missing hearing or seeing a number being called, which hampers the player's ability to get Bingos. This leads to a frantic and stressful experience as he tries to catch up and scan his card(s) for any matches. Inattentive players therefore risk losing opportunities for a Bingo and essentially waste the Bingo credits he had to use to enter the round. Additionally, the more cards the player uses (the max is 4), the higher and stronger his attention must be. The more cards he has, the more numbers he must search through without any extra time than if he had only one card. More cards also leave more room for error. As if these demands were not enough, noticing his own Bingo becomes more difficult as his cards become further populated with daubs throughout the round. It's unfortunately too easy to miss a Bingo right in front of his eyes, especially while trying to balance his attention to keep up with the new numbers being called. The greater his ability to disperse his attention, the lower his risk of error and missed opportunities at a Bingo.

Self-Control

Managing our actions, feelings and behaviors.

As mentioned, the player has the choice to use one to four cards in a single round of BINGO Blitz. More cards mean greater chances of earning collection items, power-ups, keys to unlock treasure chests, and of course, getting Bingo. However, this comes at a cost, with the game being more challenging with additional cards and leaving more room for error. The player may find this too stressful or challenging at first. Therefore, he can end up "biting off more than he can chew" for the increased opportunity to earn aforementioned items and Bingos. It's important for him to resist the urge to up the stakes at first, as it may hinder him more than it helps him. With more time playing and practice of Focus skills mentioned earlier, his ability to juggle more cards can increase, which allows the additional cards to be more helpful than harmful. Each card used costs Bingo credits, so if he fails to exert Self-Control skills in taking the risk of additional cards, he can end up wasting precious Bingo credits (that are not too easy to come by) if he wasn't ready for the challenge.

Self-Control is also important with respect to power-ups. They are hard to accumulate, and the timing of their use can be either wasteful or advantageous. It's very tempting to use them when they become available within a round, especially when the power-up button is blinking and begging to be pushed. Using it when the round is almost over can be wasteful if it is obvious the player isn't going to get a Bingo before time ends, as power-ups provide the best rewards if he gets a Bingo. However, depending on the power-up and number of Bingos left in the round, it might actually increase his chances of getting Bingo when used earlier on in the round. Exercising Self-Control to resist using it at the "wrong" time can help avoid wasted credits and increase his chances to earn more credits through getting Bingos.
