In One Button Bob, players use only the left mouse button to control their character, Bob. However, what that button does changes from screen to screen. Sometimes the button will make Bob run or jump, while at other times it will make him throw a boomerang or stand still. Players must quickly figure out what the mouse button does in each screen and adapt fast, pressing it at the right time. Since this game is very easy to play, features little violence and no blood or otherwise offensive content, it is recommended for players ages 4 and up.

This game is good for Kids who need help with:

Flexibility

Adapting and adjusting to changing conditions and expectations. Trying new things.

Players use just one button to play the game, and the way that button controls the character on screen always changes. Sometimes it makes the character jump, sometimes it makes him run, and other times it makes him stop running. By constantly changing the way players interact with the game, it requires players to think fast and improvise, changing their expectations from screen to screen.

Focus

Understanding our own actions, thoughts and feelings.

The obstacles in each room can give attentive players clues about what action pressing the button will perform. For example, one room might have bats and spiders in it, while the next room has arrows falling from the ceiling. In the first room, the button throws Bob's boomerang to clear the pests out of his path, but in the second room, it makes him stop and wait for the arrows to fall. Players who pay attention to the layout of each room can learn to predict what action Bob will perform before they click the mouse button.
