In the game Animal Restaurant, you play a cat without a home who is taken in by Chef Gumi, another cat who wants you to work in his restaurant. Your job is to take orders, buy furniture, keep the place clean, collect money, and hire additional staff. As your restaurant becomes more popular, create new dishes for rare customers and collect even more profits by hosting promotional events.

Earn enough stars from your restaurant and you can open new areas, such as a patio, a buffet, and a takeout section. Keep your staff happy by giving them occasional raises and taking on some of their work when they need a break.

This game requires a minor amount of reading so younger students may need parental assistance.

Animal Restaurant  helps kids practice and improve the following skills:

Working Memory: Following directions and routines.

When the restaurant gets busy, there are many things you will need to remember to take care of. The student has to keep all of these tasks in mind when they are playing the game in order to earn enough money to keep the restaurant successful. If students are not diligent, customers go unserved, garbage piles up, and your restaurant will not attract new customers.

Focus: Getting started and then maintaining attention and effort to tasks.

Working in an animal restaurant is not an easy job! Students have multiple tasks to balance simultaneously and they need to be focused on all the necessary components to keep the restaurant running smoothly. If not, the customers lose interest and the restaurant will become empty.
