Two Dots is a puzzle game where you are trying to clear levels by matching dots of the same color together while only being able to move horizontally or vertically. Levels start out fairly simple and increase in complexity as the numbers and colors of dots needed to move on increases in complexity. Obstacles are added in later levels such as ice blocks that need to be broken or fire that need to be put out.
An additional side game opens up a visually chaotic puzzle world where you are trying to find hidden objects within a large interactive picture. Additional features may be purchased within the app. Some students might require minor reading assistance for certain instructions.
Flexibility: Adapting and adjusting to changing conditions and expectations.
Because each level of the game is different as far as complexity and tasks that need to be accomplished, the rules of the game are constantly changing. Students need to exercise flexibility to move to the next level. If they do not, they will not be able to finish the task within the set number of moves, causing them to repeat the level.
Planning: Developing a systematic approach for setting and achieving goals.
Students have a limited number of “moves” to complete each puzzle. Because of this, students need to survey the board and plan what they are going to do before making hasty moves. If they do not, there is a good chance that they will run out of moves before they have completed the goal, causing them to repeat the level.
