REBUS: Absurd Logic Game is a brain teaser game where the player translates pictures and graphics into a word or phrase. Each level has eight puzzles. The player clicks on a square and types in the solution. If they are correct they get points and coins. If they are incorrect the game says so. The player uses coins to buy hints, when needed. The game also provides statistics tracking, a leaderboard, and achievements.
REBUS: Absurd Logic Game has ads and offers in-game purchases. The ESRB rated E for Everyone and LW4K stands by this rating.
REBUS: Absurd Logic Game helps kids practice and improve the following skills:
Adapting and adjusting to changing conditions and expectations.
As with any brain teaser, flexibility is an important skill in this game. The player has to keep in mind all the different words a picture can represent. A picture of water, for example could be water, waves, the ocean, or the sea, to name a few. If the player looks at the picture and only thinks of the first word that pops into his or her head, they may not be able to complete the puzzle. They have to be willing to try new things in order to find the right combination of words to solve the puzzle.
Arranging and coordinating materials in order to complete a task.
With so many different words and potential combinations possible for every picture, the player has to use their organization skills to keep their thoughts in order. If they aren’t organizing their thoughts, they might forget to try some words or which order they have already tried combining them. This can slow down their progress or cause them to completely miss the answer.
