Smarty Bubbles is a bubble shooter game where players must make combinations of three or more same-colored bubbles. Players shoot a colored bubble into the field of play in hopes that the shot will find a match, in an attempt to remove all bubbles from the field. Combinations of more than three will score players additional points. The game ends when the field of play gets so filled with bubbles, that players can no longer even make a shot. Players chase their own high score in Smarty Bubbles, as there is only one level of play. We recommend Smarty Bubbles to players 4 and up.
THIS GAME IS GOOD FOR KIDS WHO NEED HELP WITH:
Developing a systematic approach for setting and achieving goals. Improving short-term planning.
It would be ill-advised for players to fire bubbles at random into the field of play. In fact, it would be detrimental to their scores. For players who are invested in topping their latest high score, it's important that they have a strategy before each shot. Between shots, players should scan the screen, looking for a pairing. And if there are no rows of two same-colored bubbles, then players should make a "safe shot," or a shot that will not get in the way of a row a matching bubbles.
Adapting and adjusting to changing conditions and expectations.
Human error plays its role in Smarty Bubbles, which is evident when players can try to control the exact trajectory of each shot. However, they may miss the target. Missing the target could block a matching set of bubbles, or interfere with the next shot. Adapting to a poor shot is just as important as making a good one. It allows players to demonstrate adaptive strategies, forcing them to seek alternative solutions. These are hallmarks of the flexibility thinking skill.
