Fit It Quick is a puzzle game where players must fit together Tetris-like puzzle pieces into their proper position. Determining the right place can be quite difficult — especially as players unlock more difficult levels. Tiled pieces are dragged from the side of the screen and positioned inside the puzzle’s grid. Pieces cannot be rotated or flipped, either. Players can earn zero to three stars on every level, an award dependent on how quickly players solve the puzzle. The goal is to collect three stars in each one of the 30 levels for a total of 90 stars. We recommend this game for children 8 and older.
Fit It Quick prevents users from flipping, rotating, or manipulating the puzzle pieces in any way. The form that they appear in on the screen, is the form in which they will be arranged. Players should develop a system of organization. Since the actual puzzle takes up only part of the screen, players should arrange their pieces by size or shape first. Although it may waste a few seconds, having an organized bank of tiles will makes completing the more difficult levels a little easier. Players must accept the trial and error aspect of gameplay, as it may take a few attempts to complete a level. But if they are able to rule out parts of the grid where certain pieces cannot fit, then they will have much better luck.
The game clock does not count down -- it counts forward. This allows for a less stressful gaming environment, but it does not make time any less important in Fit It Quick. Time is present in the name. Players who solve each puzzle very quickly are awarded three stars. Players whose games take longer as a result of too many failed tile placements will certainly not be three score games. However when the level is complete, players can advance to the next stage.
