Extreme Road Trip 2 is a racing game where players steer their vehicles on a linear, endless course. Hills, mines, and hot air balloons make the courses difficult to navigate, forcing players to carefully maneuver their way through each map. Courses are laden with coins, which can be used to purchase upgrades and unlock new cars. In addition to coins, players can earn a separate in-game currency (cash), which is used to purchase even more powerful cars. During gameplay, players must perform a series of stunts to score points and cash, and a perfectly executed stunt will engage the car’s overdrive feature, making it run faster while burning less fuel. If the fuel runs out, the race ends. Extreme Road Trip 2 contains no inappropriate content, and is suitable for children 5 and older.

Getting started and then maintaining attention and effort to tasks.
Success in Extreme Road Trip 2 requires an unwavering attention to detail. Players who divert their attention will likely crash their vehicles. A keen concentration on the landscape will keep players aware of mines and fuel tanks. Although crashes are inevitable, a spacial mindfulness helps to avoid the oversight that leads to collision. Players must not only be highly alert during gameplay, they must also possess the capacity or drive to complete game goals. In short; goal-directed persistence. The game emphasizes the importance of completing goals. Players are given 54 specific tasks for each car. Achieving these tasks will result in game currency awards, as well as car upgrades, helping players to travel at higher speeds, and achieve the more difficult game goals.
Adapting and adjusting to changing conditions and expectations.
Players must think fast and be able to adapt to the game's ever-changing course landscape in order to net points, avoid crashing and maintain their fuel level. The random distribution of hills and mines keeps players on their toes, requiring them to shift gameplay strategies. At times, players may want to avoid risks in order to navigate a tricky area, while other times it may be best to launch for a big risky trick over a flatter area of the game. Whether running out of gas or crashing upside down, Extreme Road Trip 2 encourages players to learn from their mistakes to extend their travel time and scores. Overzealous players may begin a race striving to do as many flips as possible in order to achieve overdrive. But doing too many stunts at a low speed will mostly likely result in a crash. Players must refrain from doing too many stunts early in the race, and rely on the "slam landing" function to attain higher speeds.
