Users often use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes. Users can also browse pinboards to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share similar interests. A Pinterest board can be shared through Facebook or Google+ and a mobile version is also available. Pinterest requires some reading and not all of the content is acceptable for young children.
