Crayola Colorful Creatures helps kids practice and improve the following skills:

Flexibility: Trying something new. 

The activities in the Colorful Creatures app allow for creativity and can build up early flexibility skills. For example, the elephant activity asks the child to color in the elephant but does not tell them what colors they need to use. The child can make a creature all their own by trying new colors to see which they like best. 

Focus: Getting started and then maintaining attention and effort to tasks.

Preschool game apps are a great way for younger children to practice their focusing skills because the games and activities tend to be short and sustained. This way the child can build up this skill by starting small and gradually working their way to longer periods of focusing on tasks. For example, the Leopard Frog activity has children looking at certain colored flies to see which ones they need to catch for the frog. If they are not focused they will not be able to find the correct color for him to eat. The game only lasts for three short rounds, meaning the child is practicing flexibility within a range that is age-appropriate.
