Have you ever wanted to just get away and go camping on a deserted island full of spirit bears who need help moving on from their earthly lives? Just me? Well, if it does sounds appealing to you, you’ll really like today’s game, Cozy Grove. In this game you custom create your character who is a Spirit Scout, kind of like a Girl Scout for the afterlife. You wind up in Cozy Grove, a colorless and kind of sad looking island inhabited by even sadder spirit bears. Each day you explore the island, talk to the bears, and see if you can help them with their ghost-bear problems. This often involves finding objects to help them, like feathers to keep them warm, or a tea cup that they misplaced. When you complete a quest for the bear, your relationship with them will grow stronger and they will bring color back to their area of the island. Completing challenges will also give you spirit logs which you can give to your living flame to consume. When he consumes enough, he will illuminate new areas in Cozy Grove with new ghost bears to talk to. If you think that relaxing with a bunch of ghost bears and helping them move on sounds appealing, definitely give Cozy Grove a try.

Cozy Grove is a great way for the player to practice their planning and organization skills. Your character has a limited amount of space in their inventory and your campground can only hold a select amount of items. The player needs to make sure that there is enough space in their inventory to collect items that they will need to complete certain quests. For example, if Captain Billweather Snout is asking you to bring him three uncommon or rare fish to eat, you need to make sure that you have your fishing pole with you and three empty spaces to hold the fish. And this is where planning comes in. Before you set off to complete a quest for a bear, make sure you have the tools in your inventory and you will be good to go!

This game is also a great way to practice self-control. Many things in Cozy Grove take more than a few minutes to complete. Sometimes you will need to put the game down and come back for things like trees, fish, and minerals to replenish. The player needs to practice patience and recognize the need to get some real-life fresh air.
