Hey everyone, welcome to Learningworks for Kids Game Spotlights! This is a new series where we will be walking through some of your favorite games and talking about how playing them can help you get better at real-world skills! If you want to know more about how to take your gameplay to the next level, visit learningworksforkids.com and learn more about how video games can be a part of a balanced play diet.

Do you think you’re a considerate person? Well, put this theory to the test in the game Kuukiyomi3: Consider It More and More! This is the latest game in the Japanese series which asks the question: are you considerate enough to do the right thing no matter what? Kuukiyomi means “read the room” in Japanese; do you have the skills to tell what needs to be done in strange and complex situations?

The game is fairly simple: in the main mode, you are presented with 100 scenarios in which you can either take an action or do nothing at all. Anything on the screen in red can be manipulated. Some of these challenges are ones you might encounter in everyday life while some are just…a little bizarre. Players need to use their self-awareness and self-control skills because sometimes doing the right thing over the thing that might be funnier is sometimes pretty tough.

At the end of the game, the player receives their score which details how considerate the player is over several different categories. But just in case you would rather just make mischief, don’t worry…we’ve got you covered. In the Inconsiderate mode of the game, you are encouraged to do the wrong thing each and every time so you can let loose and be as rude as you want!
