Hey everyone, welcome to Learningworks for Kids Game Spotlights! This is a new series where we will be walking through some of your favorite games and talking about how playing them can help you get better at real-world skills!

Today we are going to be talking about Rocket League! This game answers the question on everyone’s minds: what if soccer games were played with cars? In Rocket League, you and your teammates enter an arena and drive around, manipulating a giant soccer ball into your opponent’s goal. The game offers a lot of variety in its arenas and you can also customize your car to look just the way you want.

There are several different ways to play the game, including 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 modes. Players need to use their flexibility skills to adapt to the changing circumstances of the game; just like in a regular soccer match, no two games will be exactly the same. Daily Challenges also further test your flexibility because the goals you need to reach are constantly changing.

The game also features tournaments where you are pitted against other players in your ranking. When playing with the other people online, players also need to use their self-awareness skills to make sure that they are communicating well with their teammates and opponents and recognizing when a conversation is becoming unhelpful.

Well, that’s all the time we have for today! Be sure to check out more Gaming Spotlights at learningworksforkids.com!
