Hey everyone, welcome to Learningworks for Kids Game Spotlights! This is a new series where we will be walking through some of your favorite games and talking about how playing them can help you get better at real-world skills!
Today we are going to be talking about New Pokemon Snap! New Pokemon snap is the latest addition to the Pokemon franchise and was exclusively released on the Nintendo Switch. The game is an updated version of the Nintendo 64 release but has some new features and updated graphics.
The objective of the game is to take pictures of Pokemon as you travel through their natural habitats in a vehicle that travels on rails. The pictures that you take are then assigned a rating based on a variety of factors, such as the action the Pokemon is performing, the number of Pokemon in the picture, The size of the pokemon in the picture, and so much more!. The player needs to focus their attention on getting the best picture and be flexible in their attempts by playing music or using Fluffruit to lure certain Pokemon from their hiding locations.
Once the player has taken the photos, they can edit them by changing the picture’s filter and adding different stickers to the image. These can then be uploaded for everyone to see. The player can also see all of the different pictures taken by other people from all over the world.
That’s all the time we have for today but be sure to join us for the next Game Spotlight at learningworksforkids.com!
