How Much Fortnite Is Too Much?

In a recent article for ADDitude, LW4K founder and president Dr. Randy Kulman shared insight from patients of his clinical child psychology practice about why they love the hit video game Fortnite. Many of Dr. Kulman’s patients with ADHD describe Fortnite as a free and fast-paced game that allows them to experience the excitement of player-versus-player action and also exercise their creativity to build things in the game. It’s challenging, fun, and matches happen quickly.

But is there such a thing as too much Fortnite? At this point, the answer from most parents is likely to be “YES!” The question runs deeper than simply being tired of hearing about a video game–to questions of over-stimulation, obsession, and addiction.
