This week on the LW4K Let’s Play channel, we continue our adventure conquering the world in 2K Games’ immersive strategy game, Civilization 6. Civ 6 can be played as a single or multiplayer game. Players pick a nation to lead, with the objective to be the most successful nation on the planet.

For those unfamiliar with the popular series, Civilization is similar to the board game RISK, with many more intricacies and paths to victory. While RISK focuses primarily on war, in Civilization a nation can win by dominating other states in Science, Culture, and Diplomacy. Civ 6 allows a player to pick from real life countries and rulers from the past or present, with different attributes and ruling methods for each.

In this episode we continue our quest to victory as the French Empire. We start a war with Egypt, a neighboring nation starting to grow cities a little too close to us. Civilization exercises virtually every major thinking skill, but we focus Organization of our cities production, and Planning our armies’ placement. Come check it out!
