Speed Billiards is a HTML5 game where players must sink all billiard balls in play, effectively “clearing the table.” This allows players to advance to the next stage, in which the balls are racked in a different way. Additional points are awarded for consecutive shots. There is a two minute time limit for each level, however, players can earn extra seconds of play with consecutive shots as well. As players move their stick back to prepare to strike the cue ball, the game automatically calculates the angle and the direction the ball will travel after being hit by the cue. Speed Billiards is easy to pick up and we recommend it to players who are 4 and older.
THIS GAME IS GOOD FOR KIDS WHO NEED HELP WITH:
A game of billiards, by nature, takes considerable planning. The same is true for Speed Billiards. When aiming for a pocket, players must create the angle between the stick and cue that achieves the desired result. A white line gives players a general understand of the likely direction of the ball. However, it does not take into account the resulting speed of the ball. The speed is controlled by how far back players bring their stick before making a shot. And every shot, whether a hit or miss, should try to set up the next shot. This way, there will be few misses.
Players are given two total minutes to finish each round. The time limit prevents players from laboring for too long over each shot. Two minutes is not much time, forcing players to be precise and accurate, as well a timely and quick. Once players begin to make a few consecutive shots, they will notice an extra five or 10 seconds added to the time limit. This time limit carries over into the next round, where they same rules apply. Players must play through each level as quickly and accurately as possible, which will guarantee them access to the next level.
